Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing high‑volume invoice processing and ensuring accurate, timely payments to vendors. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency with Quick Books in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency
  • Review, code, and enter invoices into Quick Books
  • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations
  • Maintain AP files, documentation, and audit support
  • Assist with month‑end closing tasks, including accruals
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience
  • Strong proficiency with Quick Books (required)
  • Solid understanding of AP workflows and best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Excel and general accounting systems
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
