Accounting Supervisor Opportunity - Are you an experienced accounting professional with 3+ years of leadership experience? A national distribution company in Chesterfield, Missouri, is hiring an Accounting Supervisor for a direct-hire opportunity.

• Supervise the month-end general ledger closing process and ensure the accuracy of balance sheet and income statement accounts in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger month-end close process.
• Lead and support a team of 6 Accounting Specialists and Staff Accountants.
• Partner and work closely with the CFO on financial operations and reporting initiatives.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and customer billings.

• BS or BA in Accounting or related field.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
