Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious downtown Los Angeles law firm to find an experienced Billing Assistant. This position is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join a respected legal practice and focus on client billing functions, with potential exposure to accounts payable. The firm offers a stable and professional work environment, providing a great chance to grow within the industry.
Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and finalize monthly billing statements in accordance with client guidelines.
- Handle time entry adjustments, transfers, write-offs, and other billing edits.
- Process electronic billing (e-billing) through various client systems and resolve rejections in a timely manner.
- Communicate with attorneys and clients regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
- Assist with accounts payable functions as needed, including invoice processing, vendor setup, and expense reimbursements.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and firm financial information.
- Minimum 2+ years of law firm billing experience required.
- Familiarity with e-billing systems and client guidelines preferred.
- Experience with accounts payable functions is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
Monday to Friday, first shift.

Salary: Up to $75,000, depending on experience.
