Accountant - Full Cycle Role | On-Site in St. Louis

Dana James at Robert Half Finance & Accounting is partnering with a small company in the St. Louis area who is looking to add an Accountant to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys owning the accounting process and contributing to operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting and own the daily accounting process.

Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

Support multiple entities and ensure compliance with company policies.

Assist with process improvements and contribute to system implementations as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (with a financial focus).

Proven experience as a full-cycle Accountant.

Ability to manage multiple companies and adapt to changing priorities.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Experience with process improvement and system implementation is a plus.

- Proven experience in full-cycle accounting roles, demonstrating expertise in managing complex processes.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
