Audit Senior – Hybrid | Richmond Heights, MO

Salary: 80,000 to 95,000

Our client is a well-established and expanding public accounting firm seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Audit and Attest team. The firm has built a reputation for strong leadership, supportive mentorship, and developing professionals from Senior through Manager and beyond.

The Role As an Audit Senior, you will take ownership of engagements while continuing to strengthen your leadership and technical skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading compilation, review, and audit engagements from planning through issuance
  • Ensuring financial statements and documentation meet professional standards
  • Preparing audit findings and client recommendations
  • Reviewing and mentoring staff accountants
  • Serving as in charge on engagements
  • Building strong, long term client relationships

You will have meaningful client interaction and the opportunity to guide staff while expanding your own expertise.

What They Are Looking For

  • 3 or more years of public accounting experience
  • Solid audit and attest experience
  • CPA candidate required, CPA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Exposure to tax preparation or review is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary between 80,000 and 95,000
