Accounts Payable Clerk

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.

• Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests with accuracy, proper approvals, and correct account coding.
• Allocate expenses appropriately across programs, grants, and restricted funds.
• Prepare weekly or bi weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card payments.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records in both electronic and physical formats.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams regarding payment status and inquiries.

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Apply a basic understanding of accounting principles to daily activities.
• Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel effectively to support processing and reporting.
• Manage multiple deadlines efficiently in a fast paced work environment.
• Leverage experience working with nonprofit funding sources, grants, or restricted funds when applicable.
