Sr. Accountant

Location: Bridgeton

Description Robert Half Talent Solutions is partnering with an organization searching for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accrual accounting, and experience supporting annual audit processes.

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will:

- Reconcile bank accounts, prepare and post journal entries, and complete general ledger account reconciliations.

- Perform variance analysis on income and expense accounts for reasonableness.

- Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Support internal and external audits by creating schedules, reports, and documentation.

- Strengthen internal control systems and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

- Prepare future revenue estimates.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Senior Accountant qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or business

- 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience and strong knowledge of GAAP accounting

- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling.

- Experience with Power

BI or AI Automation is a plus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
