Job Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Staff - Public in Irvine, California. The successful candidate will be part of a team that handles complex tax issues in the accounting and finance industry. The role involves managing client relationships and ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.

• Manage and process customer tax applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Uphold and maintain accurate customer tax records
• Handle complex tax issues and provide solutions
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws
• Utilize accounting software systems to facilitate work processes
• Perform auditing tasks and ensure financial statements are accurate
• Use problem‑solving skills to handle and resolve customer inquiries
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Perform entity formation tasks and other accounting functions
• Work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must
• Familiarity with Case Ware, CCH Intelli Connect, CCH Prosystem, and CCH Pro System Fx is required
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions efficiently
• Experience in Auditing is necessary
• Understanding of Compliance regulations and standards in the finance sector
• Knowledge of Entity Formation processes
• Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
• Detail oriented certifications such as CPA or ACCA are desirable
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
