Job Title: International Accounting Clerk

Position OverviewThe International Accounting Clerk supports Walker Products' global operations by handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities for our Mexico operations, with future expansion to support European entities. This role ensures accurate financial transactions, timely processing, and compliance with internal policies while working closely with internal accounting teams and international partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working across borders, currencies, and cultures.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable (Mexico Operations)- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper approvals and coding.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.
- Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Ensure timely payments in accordance with agreed-upon terms.
- Assist with month-end AP close activities.
- Generate and distribute customer invoices.
- Apply customer payments and reconcile AR balances.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collection follow-ups as needed.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Work closely with Walker Products' U.S.
-based accounting team to ensure consistency and compliance. - Support accounting processes involving multiple currencies and international transactions.
- Assist with documentation and reporting related to intercompany transactions.
- Prepare to support European accounting activities as the role expands.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP and accounting systems.
- Assist with reconciliations and financial reporting as needed.
- Maintain organized digital and physical accounting files.
- Support audits and internal reviews by providing documentation and explanations.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience supporting international or multi-entity accounting operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor experience a plus).
- Basic understanding of foreign currency transactions.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
- Willingness to learn and support European accounting operations over time.

Salary: $23 - $25 per hour
