Accounts Receivable ClerkFull Time Sherman Oaks, CA, US
Full-time, temporary, with potential for regular employment: 40 hours/Week, Wage: $20/HR
Hours:
8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday*
Location: In office at our Sherman Oaks CA location
Position SummaryThe Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organization’s cash flow through timely invoicing. This is a temporary position that may lead to regular employment, depending on business needs and performance.
Job Duties- Receive, post, and reconcile customer payments
- Apply payments to customer accounts accurately
- Process checks, ACH payments, wire transfers, credit card transactions and other forms of payments
- Assist with month-end and mid-month reports
- * if month end falls on weekend, may require 4-5 hours on weekend
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Support continuous improvement efforts within accounting processes
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - 1–3 years of accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred
- Efficiency with 10-key
- Ability to work on weekends if month end falls on weekend
- Knowledge of Outlook and Excel
- Experience with CUBS is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial information
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
- Fast-paced
- Frequent interaction with internal departments
