Accounts Receivable Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Inbound and Outbound calls with customers to assist with payments, accounts, collections, etc.
• Update and enter customer account information in Database Management System – AS400.
• Enter information into customer account notes, in addition to other data entry tasks.
• Resending missing invoices and statements to the appropriate accounting contact.
• Evaluate Sales Tax Certificates (upload to sales tax software system, process tax credits, etc.)
• Run reports and reconcile customer accounts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-5 years Accounts Receivable experience.
• Time management and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and open environment.
• Strong Analytical skills; outstanding attention to detail.
• Professional Attitude portrayed both in person and over the phone.
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Familiarity with Avalara and Experian.
• AS400 data management system experience; CRM database experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Accounting team as well as independently.
