Senior Project Accountant

iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a qualified professional to join our Accounting team. iSuite is a business support services organization formed in 2023. The organization provides business development and pursuit, estimating, safety, accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing, and training services to clients within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry. We are currently looking for a Senior Project Accountant to join our Accounting team located at our office in Chesterfield, MO.

Our ideal candidate for a Senior Project Accountant is someone who has 2 + years of experience supporting construction projects through billing, cost tracking, contract administration, project accounting and related financial functions. This candidate will have experience taking a "hands on" role, and should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational and communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative work environment. Construction industry experience is preferred but not required.

Candidates with strong accounting, billing, project administration, or financial analysis experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Primary responsibilities for iSuite's Senior Project Accountant include:

• Provide project finance support and analysis for assigned projects.
• Set up new jobs from job information sheet.
• Request and track Certificates of Insurance for assigned projects.
• Review and follow contract requirements, special provisions, and terms & conditions.
• Prepare customer billing, understand the importance of timely and accurate billing documentation.
• Aid in collection of outstanding payments and the effects of timeliness on cash management.
• Prepare and submit all required project related reporting, such as certified payroll.
• Comprehends and follows purchasing procedures for goods purchased for assigned projects.
• Understands the accounts payable process and works to troubleshoot vendor issues.
• Assist in coding subcontractor and equipment invoices in Vista.
• Request subcontractor and other vendor invoices when necessary.
• Identify and review projection and budget issues monthly to ensure proper recognition of cost and revenue.
• Display first-rate customer service skills, maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to offer a helping hand to other team members.
• Other related duties as assigned or needed.

Primary qualifications for iSuite's Senior Project Accountant include:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in billing or a similar role.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• A self-starter who enjoys working in a large team environment.
• Possessing exceptional communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Displaying strong attention to detail, while having the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• Ability to work within an environment with deadlines, and when tasked with multiple duties your attention to detail stays consistent.
• Having the ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
• Always remain mindful of sensitive information.
• Performing efficiently in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Working with others within the organization with a positive, helpful attitude; taking ownership of the role and seeking ways to improve processes.
• Demonstrated experience working with Unions is preferred.
• Experience with Vista by Viewpoint software is preferred.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
