In office position at our beautiful Irvine office overlooking the Spectrum.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Company Background:
We are a tax accounting firm located in the Irvine area looking for a Full‑Time business office associate who can perform many accounting, customer service and organizational tasks to help maintain the financial health of clients. Their duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide services to clients daily by engaging with them over the phone and in person
- Collect relevant financial records and financial statements as needed
- Build customer relationships to promote and expand the business
- Ensure the completion of assigned tasks by the appointed deadline
- Monitor spending and budgets
- Analyze financial performance
- Compile and present financial reports
- Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
- Review accounting emails assigned to you
- Monitor the Accounting Team and personal general email box for work‑related communication
- Download and save any new documents (payroll, merchant statements) into the Internal Accounting Software
- Respond to the client in a timely manner
- Communicate with clients regarding missing documents
- Review Uncategorized Transactions monthly
- Take initiative and utilize resources such as previous transactions/journal entries, Google, etc. as needed
- Follow all internal processes, such as updating Accounting Trackers when completing tasks
- Answer any incoming calls for the Accounting Team
Job Skills and
Qualifications:
- Bookkeeping: 2 years
- Customer Service
Skills:
1 year (Required) - Quick Books – QBD and/or QBO: 2 years
- In-depth knowledge of applicable tax laws, regulations, and deadlines
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software applications
- Knowledge of Sales Tax and Property Tax
- Proficient in completing Statement of Information
- Excellent customer service skills, including patience and flexibility
- Great organizational skills, including time management and strategic thinking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
- Ability to work under pressure
