You will be the first dedicated finance hire will own the books, set up the financial controls a growing AI company needs, and partner with leadership on budgeting and unit economics.
What you will do- Manage the general ledger, AP, AR, and payroll cycles.
- Run a clean monthly close and produce financial reports for leadership.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors on quarterly and annual filings.
- Implement scalable controls, expense policies, and approval workflows.
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and SaaS unit economics.
- CPA or actively pursuing licensure.
- 4+ years accounting experience, ideally including a tech or services startup.
- Fluent with Quick Books Online, Gusto/Rippling, Stripe, and modern expense tools.
- Strong sense of ownership and a bias for documented, repeatable processes.
- Experience with R&D tax credits and SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606).
