Senior Sales Tax Consultant

• Research and advise on multistate sales and use tax issues, including nexus, taxability, and exemptions

• Lead and support compliance engagements, including return preparation, voluntary disclosure agreements, and audit defense across multiple jurisdictions

• Identify tax savings opportunities and communicate actionable insights to clients

• Manage engagements from scoping through delivery, including timelines, budgets, and client relationships

• Partner across CLA service lines to deliver integrated solutions

• Leverage technology and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client experience

• Develop expertise through SALT training, client work, and exposure to complex multistate issues

• Mentor associates and interns and help build a collaborative SALT team

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 2+ years of relevant experience required
• Experience in business consulting or services preferred
• CPA eligible preferred
