Senior Accountant

Robert Half Talent Solutions is partnering with an organization searching for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accrual accounting, and experience supporting annual audit processes. Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will:

• Reconcile bank accounts, prepare and post journal entries, and complete general ledger account reconciliations.
• Perform variance analysis on income and expense accounts for reasonableness.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support internal and external audits by creating schedules, reports, and documentation.
• Strengthen internal control systems and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Prepare future revenue estimates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Senior Accountant qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or business
• 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience and strong knowledge of GAAP accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling.
• Experience with PowerBI or AI Automation is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
