Senior Accountant

Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with an organization in St. Louis seeking a full-time Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant must be able to work in a deadline driven environment with a high attention to detail and possess good communication skills to manage the accounting department.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Manage and perform all accounting functions, including general ledger, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and journal entries
• Lead the month-end and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis to support business decisions
• Maintain internal controls and audit readiness, including supporting external audits and compliance initiatives
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, analyzing performance against expectations

Senior Accountant

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of public accounting with supervisory required
• Intermediate Excel skills with Quick Books experience
