Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $55.00 to $70.00 per hour.

Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records, reporting, and compliance with company policies.

Lead month end, quarter end, and year end close activities, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.

Review journal entries, account analyses, and supporting documentation to maintain the accuracy of financial data.

Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis to assist business decision making.

Develop and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior leadership or supervisory responsibilities.

Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and month end close processes.

Previous experience working with ERP systems, accounting software, and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast paced environment.

A professional accounting certification.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret financial information and provide recommendations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and leadership levels.

Proven leadership abilities with experience training, mentoring, and developing accounting staff.

Highly organized and detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy, process improvement, and continuous learning.
