Job Description and DutiesDo you enjoy working in a fast-paced remote centered environment with variety in your work?
Under the general direction of the Revenue Section Chief, Accounting Administrator II (AAII), this Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor) (AAI) position serves as the Accounts Receivable Unit (ARU) Supervisor within the Revenue Section in the Financial and Business Management Division – Accounting Services Bureau. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing all functions of the Unit, establishing policies and procedures related to the validation, depositing, and recording of accounts receivables and associated payments collected by the Department.
This position is responsible for managing staff handling accounts receivable (AR) functions while assisting the Revenue Section Chief in developing and implementing the Department’s accounts receivable control policies. Effective July 1, 2025, the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025 and related Pay Differential 386. PLP 2025 requires employees to receive a reduction in pay in exchange for monthly hours of PLP 2025 leave credits.

- The incumbent must be able to work in a high- rise building.
- The incumbent must be able move large or cumbersome reports from one location to another with or without reasonable accommodations.

- The incumbent may telework in accordance with CDI's Telework Policy. Teleworking employees may be required to report to their headquarters office location on designated telework days. Travel expenses are not reimbursed, however other authorized transit subsidies do exist for those who qualify.
