Fund Services Plus Manager – Private Equity Fund Administration

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day engagement manager for fund administration engagements focused on private equity clients
• Manage capital calls, distributions, wires/cash management, quarterly reporting, and year-end reporting
• Manage, train, and develop the Fund Services Plus team
• Coordinate offshore team activities with leadership from offshore affiliates
• Educate the US team on critical aspects of fund administration client servicing
• Interact heavily with clients to ensure deliverables are met
• Become an expert user of the firm’s fund administration technology platforms
• Support quality control and adherence to fund administration policies and procedures
• Manage or assist with work paper supporting schedules for financial statement accounts
• Coordinate fund-level operating activities, fee calculations, credit facility maintenance, deal funding, and investor funding
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors on annual audit activities
• Manage or assist with waterfall data and carried interest calculations/models
• Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure compliance with fund policies and procedures
• Respond promptly to investor requests
• Support onboarding, including designing a client onboarding center of excellence
• Assist with testing and implementing initiatives to improve and streamline fund accounting functions

• 7+ years of fund accounting experience in the private equity industry
• Well versed in interpreting/applying the financial and operational terms of Limited Partnership Agreements for private equity funds
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proficient knowledge of fund accounting software, Allvue
• Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and highly organized
• Strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, and positive attitude
• Strong oral and written communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
• Graduate degree, CPA and/or CA are preferred
• Sponsorship restriction for entry-level candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Expertise in fund administration and accounting for private equity clients, with strong capabilities in managing capital calls, distributions, and compliance with Limited Partnership Agreements. Proficient in utilizing fund accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite to enhance operational efficiency and client servicing.
