Accounting Director

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Director to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $170,000 per year.

• Lead accounting operations and oversee financial reporting activities for a portfolio of business entities and assets.
• Manage month end quarter end and year end close processes while ensuring accurate and timely financial results.
• Analyze financial performance through budgeting forecasting variance analysis and operational reporting.
• Support regulatory reporting audit activities and compliance initiatives by maintaining strong accounting controls.
• Lead process improvement projects system enhancements and reporting initiatives that increase efficiency and accuracy.

• A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field.
• 8+ years of accounting experience including leadership responsibilities within a professional environment.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of financial reporting accounting principles internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Possess experience with budgeting forecasting financial analysis and management reporting.
• Maintain proficiency with real estate accounting systems and advanced Excel functionality.

• Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate financial results and resolve complex accounting matters.
• Communicate effectively with executives auditors stakeholders and cross functional business partners.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities through team development coaching and performance management.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and meeting critical deadlines.
• Bring experience with real estate accounting public accounting regulatory reporting or system implementation projects considered beneficial.
