- Learn and perform audit procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements
- Examine financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation for compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Assist in evaluating and testing client internal control systems
- Work with team members to deliver quality audit products within client time frames
- Build client relationships and respond to client inquiries and concerns
- Develop ways to better serve audit clients’ needs
- Analyze financial statements and disclosures to identify material misstatements or discrepancies
- Take appropriate corrective actions
- Review and examine client financial records for accuracy and completeness
- Participate in training programs and stay current with accounting and auditing standards
- Pursue relevant certifications such as the CPA designation
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics (BS/BA/MSA/MST/Certificate Program)
- Foundational accounting knowledge, including GAAP and GAAS
- Enough units, or close to enough, to sit for the CPA exam
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing or obtaining CPA educational licensure requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in a team environment and deliver quality results
- Compassionate, proactive, authentic, driven, and resilient
- Seeking to be lifelong learners
Demonstrates foundational accounting knowledge, including GAAP and GAAS, while pursuing CPA licensure. Capable of analyzing financial statements for accuracy and compliance, and building strong client relationships through effective communication and teamwork.
