Accounting Manager – Temporary

• Provide temporary contract support across the Corporate Accounting and Accounting Operations functions during the Net Suite ERP reimplementation.
• Ensure continuity of month-end close activities, financial reporting and compliance deliverables.
• Prepare, review and approve journal entries, including accruals, reclassification, fixed asset transactions, intangible asset entries and other accounting adjustments.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure financial records adhere to U.S. GAAP accounting standards, SOX controls and internal accounting policies.
• Support the Net Suite ERP reimplementation by gathering information from Accounting Operations and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Assist with Net Suite data cleansing, migration readiness, and validation of financial statement data integrations.

• Professional accounting designation, such as CPA Canada or U.S. CPA, preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive corporate accounting, public accounting, or accounting operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience using Net Suite ERP is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills within an accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting context.
• Strong ability to independently manage priorities, meet deadlines, communicate progress, and elevate issues as needed.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting ERP implementation, reimplementation, data validation, data migration, testing, process documentation, or system-related accounting projects is an asset.

Demonstrates expertise in Corporate Accounting and Accounting Operations, with a strong focus on U.S. GAAP compliance, month-end close processes, and financial reporting. Proficient in Net Suite ERP implementation and data management, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial records.
