St. Louis County Library
The Acquisitions Department is seeking a full-time Senior Technical Assistant to provide support as part of the Acquisitions & Collection Development department. Works on a variety of technical functions to contribute to efficient department workflow.

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m.
1. Receives and unpacks materials for delivery.
2. Prepares incoming Library materials to continue on to Cataloging and Processing departments.
3. Prepares invoices to ensure timely payment of bills.
4. Provides backup for a variety of tasks to ensure materials are handled smoothly.
Job Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must possess a commitment to a high level of public service
• Must possess excellent communication and organization skills
• Must possess a high level of attention to detail

• Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to keyboard for a minimum of two hours daily
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Ability to push a full cart of books or other Library materials
• Ability to operate various types of Library equipment
• Ability to use a pc, word processing, and e-mail
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours daily
