Executive Assistant (DET)
Disney Entertainment Television is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Head of Comedy and Adult Animation for ABC Entertainment & Hulu Originals.
Responsibilities- Heavy scheduling, answering phones, and travel coordination to support the Executive.
- Schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, and perform various administrative tasks to support the President of Scripted Programming.
- Review the Executive’s schedule to build in time for meeting preparation and assist with pre‑meeting prep when needed.
- Interface directly with other senior executives and their support teams, collaborating effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Adjust and revamp the schedule in response to unforeseen situations, restoring normal operations once resolved.
- Handle extremely confidential, sensitive information, recognizing Disney’s status as a publicly traded company.
- Stay up to date on the status of incoming materials for all shows.
- Minimum of 2 years’ administrative assistant experience.
- General understanding of the television development process and cycles.
- Team player who is adaptable and maintains composure in a high‑stress, fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate the Executive’s needs and handle frequently changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills, precise attention to detail, and solid judgment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive and collaborative working style.
- Ability to multitask, manage, and disseminate a variety of work tasks punctually and effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Airtable.
- Experience supporting an SVP or above.
- Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $59,600 to $79,800 per year based on a 40‑hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay may be adjusted for internal equity and other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
