** Receptionist

** Kelowna**.

Responsibilities
  • Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere by greeting residents and visitors.
  • Performing a variety of administrative and support services in a professional, courteous, efficient and organized manner.
  • Answering phone calls and responding to requests from residents and visitors – along with other reception duties such as answering resident inquiries, receiving deliveries and organizing service requests.
  • Managing the residence driver’s schedule and handling any booking conflicts.
  • Scanning payable invoices and submitting them to appropriate managers for approval.
  • Responding to emergency calls and assisting with security issues.
  • Assisting with recreation programs and events.
  • Supporting Food Service, Housekeeping and other departments as requested.

Qualifications
  • Upbeat, engaged team member who brings positive energy to all that you do.
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent, and at least two years of reception experience in a similar environment, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Consistently professional and courteous; able to interact tactfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to handle high‑stress situations calmly and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher. Knowledge of Canva or other graphic software is an asset.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications, along with WHMIS. Food Safe is an asset, as well.
  • Understanding and respect for the needs of seniors, their families, and the professionals engaged in their care.

At PARC Retirement Living we require a Criminal Record Check, and a TB test within the first month of employment.
