Office Services Supervisor I (Typing)
$3,758.00 - $4,935.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable.
OverviewReport to the Captain. Supervise and coordinate the schedule of three Office Assistants (Typing). Develop, update, and maintain standards, guidelines, and new procedures for clerical office work. Process and purge internal investigations, adverse actions, and occupational injury and illness packages. Compile and process bi‑weekly and emergency orders for office and janitorial supplies. Assist with and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and/or audits.
Attend scheduled area staff and division clerical meetings.
- Supervise and coordinate schedules for three Office Assistants (Typing).
- Develop, update, and maintain standards, guidelines, and new procedures for clerical office.
- Process and purge internal investigations, adverse actions, and occupational injury and illness packages.
- Compile and process bi‑weekly and emergency orders for office and janitorial supplies.
- Assist with and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and/or audits.
- Attend scheduled area staff and division clerical meetings.
- Typing speed meeting the minimum specified on the Class Specifications (require a valid typing certificate).
- Background investigation clearance prior to hire.
- Experience in clerical or administrative support roles preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a large group.
- Strong communication, time‑management, and attendance skills.
