Responsibilities
  • Assist the Marketing Team in promoting and driving sales of Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake of the Ozarks.
  • Serve as a “Brand Ambassador” at the Resort to create a cohesive message to our guests. Communicate with the Margaritaville Brand Team to comply with all Brand Directives on property.
  • Create visually appealing marketing materials following the brand guidelines.
  • Communicate with print vendors, proofing ads, and providing directions to complete final advertisements.
  • Efficiently use various office software, not limited to Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Publisher, Canva, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook and the Hotel’s Sales and Catering software.
  • Maintain organized digital assets libraries, both in the Driftwood Hospitality Management External Drive and the hotel's Dropbox.
  • Assist the General Manager with
    • Capital Expenditure Request System (HSH)
    • Organize and file Purchase Orders and Capital related documents
    • Assist with the General Manager’s schedule & organize appointments when necessary
    • Certificates and donation items from the Executive office
  • Assist with planning events for holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve), preparing promotional flyers, posters and other collateral.
  • Create and produce various in‑house promotional items.
  • Assist all departments of the hotel with any branded materials to include menus for each of the food and beverage venues, signage for Recreation outlets, etc.
  • Assist with Sales Office events to include New Year’s Eve, and other events as requested.
  • Coordinate the distribution of client Christmas gifts, purchase packing materials, coordinate wrapping / packaging gifts, create and print gift cards, coordinate the mailing of packages.
  • Perform general administrative functions including answering telephones, data entry and typing, mailing and emailing documents, and composing correspondence.
  • Answer and forward guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Process information flow in and out of the Sales office.
  • Create and distribute various department reports and documents as needed.
  • Assist with on-property photo and video shoots.
  • Be a team player, assisting other Sales and Catering Team members when needed to complete the necessary work of the department. These duties include editing and distributing group resumes, banquet event orders, group cover sheets, and any associated correspondence.
  • Perform any related appropriate duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas.
  • Ability to follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Projects and assignments to be completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
  • Adjust to high‑pressure conditions and is open to change.
  • Assume responsibility for personal growth and development.
  • Conduct herself/himself professionally at all times, both in actions and dress; set standards for all associates.
  • Understand and communicate the Driftwood Mission.
