About the Role & Program Join us for the opportunity to intern with Disney Kids and family! We are a team that oversees development and production of content geared towards kids, teens and families for Disney+ and Disney Channel linear networks. We encourage fans of genre, adventure, and teen coming-of-age television. This is a phenomenal learning opportunity for anyone that is curious about television development in kids, YA, and family content!

This is a full-time internship, and the approximate dates are January 2027 through June 2027. If selected for this internship, you will report directly to the Manager of Live-Action Series Development.

We are a close-knit team, and we want you to familiarize yourself with our shows. Some tasks that you will help with include: updating tracking grids and development reports, taking notes during meetings, and cutting dailies as needed. There is also the chance to assist the team with administrative duties.

• Giving notes on incoming material
• Creating and distributing weekly development reports
• Maintaining various tracking grids
• Note-taking in team and project meetings
• Cutting dailies
• Basic administrative duties i.e. answering phones and scheduling
• Assist executives and executive assistants with a variety of tasks as needed
• Creating presentations decks and mock-up graphics

• Curiosity in scripted development series
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office and Google suites
• Motivated, self-sufficient, with a can-do attitude
• Passion for reading
• Strong computer and research skills
• Experience in Airtable and Canva

• Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or In Design
• Some previous education or experience in a related field (TV, film, children’s education/development)
• Prior administrative experience is nice to have
• Education Senior year preferred

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:
  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization

• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• The approximate dates of this internship are January 2027 through June 2027
• Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
