We are hiring a Commercial Tire Road Service Technician at our Chariton, IA location. This full‑time position offers a competitive wage of up to $26 per hour and benefits described below.

As a Commercial Tire Road Service Technician, you will:
- Operate heavy‑duty service trucks and associated tools
- Remove, install, rotate, and balance commercial tires in the shop and at fleet locations
- Evaluate tire conditions to determine repair or replacement needs
- Provide fleet inspections at customer lots and make tire recommendations to keep fleets running optimally
- Perform on‑site tire fleet service and manage fleet tire specs
- Perform emergency road service to repair or replace blown tires
- Prepare and submit on‑site paperwork detailing services performed to Sales
- Communicate fleet needs effectively with Service and Sales teams
- Work night and weekend fleet shifts (optional for extra pay)
- Operate a heavy‑duty tire service truck
- Maintain the truck with preventive maintenance and proper appearance
- Raise and lower vehicles safely using hydraulic or floor jacks
- Operate shop machinery (safety cage, spreader, balancer, jacks, air tools, torque wrench)
- Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Positive attitude and ability to relate well with employees and customers
- Physical capability to lift and carry items weighing at least 50 lb.; able to pull, push, bend, stand, lift, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
