55 Tires & Service is looking for an experienced A-Level or B-Level Automotive Technician who wants steady work, real repair opportunities, strong earning potential, and a shop they can call home.

• Monday–Friday only
• No weekends since 2020
• $75,000–$125,000+ earning potential
• Busy 9-bay shop with steady repair work
• 6 two-post lifts and 3 four-post/alignment bays
• Hunter alignment equipment
• Alldata, Identifix, and Tekmetric
• Multiple BG transmission service machines
• Multiple BG coolant service machines
• Equipment available to help keep sold work moving instead of waiting on shared machines
• Ongoing training through Vision KC, BG, Garage Gurus, and Tech Fix
• Family-owned and established since 1997
• Optional opportunity to start early or stay later if you want additional production time

This is not just oil changes and basic maintenance.

Our technicians handle:

• Diagnostics and drivability
• Brakes
• Steering and suspension
• A/C and HVAC
• Electrical work
• Timing work and camshafts
• Engines and transmissions
• Differentials and PTUs
• Maintenance
• Tires and alignments
• Full general repair

We work on all makes and models, with a strong mix of domestic and Asian vehicles, plus diesel and some European.

We are looking for an experienced technician who:

• Takes pride in fixing vehicles correctly
• Can perform quality repairs independently
• Diagnoses accurately based on skill level
• Performs thorough inspections
• Communicates well with service advisors
• Owns professional tools
• Works well with the team
• Shows up on time and ready to work
• Wants to continue learning and improving
• Is looking for a long-term home, not just the next temporary stop

A Missouri State Inspection license is strongly preferred
. If you do not currently have one but are otherwise the right fit, we can discuss the path to obtaining it.

Pay is based on experience, skill, diagnostic ability, quality, and production
.

Strong A- and B-Level technicians have a real opportunity to earn:

$75,000–$125,000+ per year

For a truly high-level technician, we are willing to pay top-of-market flat-rate compensation
.
