Experienced Automotive Mechanic – Full-Time or Part-Time

LICAS Auto Sales in Osage Beach is seeking a dependable, experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on automotive repair experience, strong diagnostic abilities, and the ability to complete repairs accurately and efficiently. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well independently, and is willing to assist with a variety of vehicles and shop responsibilities.

• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour during the introductory period
• Opportunity to earn up to $20.00 per hour after the introductory period, based on experience, performance, reliability, and demonstrated ability
• Full-time or part-time scheduling available
• Additional hours may be available

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle problems
• Perform oil changes, fluid services, and routine maintenance
• Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs
• Repair and replace brakes, steering, suspension, and related components
• Perform light-to-moderate mechanical repairs
• Replace worn or damaged parts
• Assist with vehicle reconditioning and preparation for sale
• Test-drive vehicles when necessary to verify concerns and completed repairs
• Maintain accurate communication regarding repairs and needed parts
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
• Follow proper safety procedures
• Provide general shop support as needed

• Previous professional or hands‑on automotive repair experience
• Working knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs correctly
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Willingness to learn and take on different responsibilities
• Experience with diagnostics, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and general automotive maintenance is preferred.
