Job Description

Position Summary The Director, HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Universal Studios Hollywood (USH) serves as a strategic leader and trusted advisor, responsible for designing and executing HR strategies that align with and accelerate business objectives. This role leads the HRBP team in delivering high-impact initiatives across talent planning, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and scalable HR solutions.

Operating at both strategic and operational levels, the Director partners closely with senior leadership to anticipate workforce needs, drive cultural transformation, and foster a high-performance environment. This role is instrumental in enhancing team and leadership effectiveness, ensuring HR strategies are agile, data-informed, and deeply aligned with USH’s brand and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culture & Engagement Strategy:
    Develop and implement long-term strategies to foster a culture of excellence and exceptional Team Member engagement. Introduce innovative, brand-aligned experiences that energize and connect employees.
  • Data-Driven Impact:
    Measure and analyze the effectiveness of engagement and development programs, using insights to continuously refine and improve outcomes.
  • Leadership Development:
    Coach and advise managers to build leadership capability, drive empowerment, and strengthen team performance.
