Salary: Commensurate with experience

In keeping with the mission and values of Big Thunder Marine, and the pledge to maintain our presence as the premier watercraft dealer at the Lake of the Ozarks, the Sales through Service Advisor serves as the primary liaison between our sales and service departments. The STSC will ensure the continued growth and success of our company by focusing on clear communication and efficiency of the sales and service teams work flow.

At all times the STSA works to enhance our customer service experience and create lasting relationships with our clients.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
  • Attend weekly delivery meetings and review delivery spreadsheet with team. Create priority task list based on outstanding items. Update spreadsheet daily as tasks are accomplished.
  • Meet with current and prospective clients to learn their needs and identify products and/or services to fill that need. Arrange demonstrations and test drives to showcase our watercraft.
  • Familiarize yourself with our inventory of new, used, and brokered watercraft to answer any client questions and address concerns.
  • Become proficient with CRM Boat Wizard to assist sales team with handling incoming leads and match inventory to client preferences.
  • Serve as delivery captain to lift and deliver boats via water or arrange and execute delivery on land.
  • Maintain the performance shop and order repairs to facility and supplies as needed.
  • Perform final walk through to ensure watercraft is in optimal condition prior to delivery.
  • Ensure client satisfaction upon delivery or arrange immediate service to rectify outstanding issues.
  • Act as client concierge to follow up on outstanding concerns and confirm timely repairs are made.
SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

High School Diploma or GED is required, Post‑secondary education is desired.

Experience:

2‑4 years’ marine sales and/or service experience preferred.

Computer

Skills:

Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google docs. Experience with CRM systems Boat Wizard and Dock Master is valued.

Certifications & Licenses:
Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Class E drivers and MO boaters license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Typical office environment with moderate noise level when working indoors.
