The Employment Development Department (EDD), Document Management Division is searching for a motivated, skilled, and challenge-seeking individual who enjoys innovation, problem solving, and is interested in working with an exciting team of professionals in a fast-paced environment. Under the general direction of a Supervisor I, the incumbent is responsible for planning, directing, and participating in the oversight of the Department's mail operations program.
The incumbent also assists in developing and monitoring the Department's mail related budget. As a liaison, the incumbent works directly with various EDD departmental programs, other state agencies, outside vendors and contractors, and the United States Postal Service (USPS) on mail related issues and postage matters. Providing input for Division and Branch level assignments. Reviewing, analyzing, researching, and tracking more complex data.
Participating on work groups to resolve problems or to implement new procedures.
The incumbent participates in or acts as a leader of work groups to resolve problems or to implement new programs. The incumbent must have strong organizational and communication abilities (written and verbal) to support the EDD's mission, vision, values, and business priorities. This position creates excellent opportunities and is conveniently located in West Sacramento while offering free parking.

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment.
Group business hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Travel may be required to other Document Management Division offices located in Natomas and Sacramento, as well as the Sacramento Central Office.
