Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented

Sales Director to join our US team.

This individual contributor role is centered on driving new business growth and expanding GFS’s customer base. The position focuses on hands-on prospecting, pipeline development, and converting new opportunities into long-term customers. The successful candidate willbe responsible foridentifyingand pursuing new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets across ocean, air, and intermodal freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in ocean, air, and intermodal transportation.
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, and customer visits.
  • Build andmaintainlong-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver customized proposals and pricing solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback toidentifygrowth opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates on customeractivitytomanagement.
  • Attend relevant industry events and trade shows to expand networks and promote GFS’s capabilities.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, ora related field.
  • Proven experience in freightforwardingorlogisticssales with a strong record of new business acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, resilient, and capable of working independently to meet targets.
  • Solid understanding of international logistics, trade lanes, and customs processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
