Role SummaryTEAM Risk Management Strategies () is looking for a Benefits Coordinator to join and support our rapidly growing company. This role is responsible for processing benefits enrollments and terminations, serving as the face of TEAM to external stakeholders, and executing other related departmental tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a good communicator, customer service-oriented, and has a strong interest in benefits.
This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Payroll Tax, AR & Benefits Manager.
- Process benefits enrollments and terminations daily as needed.
- Process 401K deferral changes and upload COBRA reporting on a biweekly basis.
- Work closely with Benefits Specialist and assist with annual projects like Open Enrollment, ACA State filings, HIPAA audit and more.
- Respond to and resolve benefits-related inquiries from clients and employees via phone, email and other channels.
- Provide the best-in-class service experience for corporate clients, employees and other stakeholders.
- Maintain employee data and system information.
- Assist with related department and / or company projects as needed.
- Support the AR & Payroll Tax team with a variety of administrative tasks as needed such as scanning checks, printing, mailing tax forms, etc.
- Accurate and rapid data entry skills.
- Excellent client service skills and professional demeanor.
- High degree of organization and attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of productivity software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Google Workspace.
