Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Pricing Analyst to take on a leadership role in our pricing strategy development. The Regional Pricing Analyst will serve as a key pricing partner for substation and transmission projects by developing strategic pricing recommendations, analyzing market‑specific cost drivers and competitive dynamics, and ensuring alignment with the technical and commercial requirements of large‑scale opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for becoming an expert in their assigned markets and regions, serving as the go‑to point person for all pricing‑related topics. They will play a pivotal role in driving critical price‑related decisions on large, strategic opportunities, maximizing profitability, and leading the organization towards pricing excellence.
A Day In The Life- Become a subject matter expert in the assigned markets and regions, staying updated on industry trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behavior.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and leader on all pricing‑related matters, providing guidance and insights to cross‑functional teams.
- Drive critical pricing decisions on high‑value, strategic opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market conditions.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and finance teams to gather and analyze data for pricing analysis and strategy development.
- Lead the analysis of pricing data, sales metrics, and competitive intelligence to inform data‑driven pricing decisions.
- Determine appropriate price levels for products in the responsibility scope, negotiating as necessary based on customer feedback.
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to assess product profitability and implement price adjustments when needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing strategies and initiatives, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling pricing reports and presentations for management and key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in pricing processes and procedures, ensuring the organization maintains pricing excellence.
- Bachelor of Science in a quantitative discipline such as Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or other analytically rigorous field.
- Strong experience in pricing and/or an equivalent analytical role with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to be viewed as a pricing expert in assigned markets and regions.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, leveraging data to make informed pricing decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex pricing concepts and influence stakeholders within the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.).
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
