Job Description

Head of Product for Health & Beauty – Square.

We need a product leader to set strategy for the Health & Beauty audience, owning the Square Appointments product, point of sale, and online capabilities, and to drive growth and profitability across the portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Bring a Square-wide perspective for the Health & Beauty audience for strategic planning.
  • Create three strategic horizons—near, mid, and long term—to set up long-term growth for the Health & Beauty audience.
  • Lead strategic shifts across multiple product areas and influence different product lines to meet audience needs.
  • Engage with external partners to build strategic rationale for acquisitions and partnerships.
  • Own and be accountable for the business performance of the Health & Beauty audience across all Square products.
  • Deeply understand the industry and use industry knowledge to shape GTM and product strategy.
  • Prioritize work for the product area and help prioritize capabilities across Square products.
  • Validate product strategies via qualitative user research and quantitative experimentation.
  • Drive execution across multiple functions and organizations.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience leading a 5+ person product team.
  • Strong design and product sensibilities.
  • Experience developing product strategies and influencing organizational change.
  • Experience managing the revenue of a sizable product line or business.
  • Strong analytical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to create clarity from ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated excellence in principled decision making with diverse stakeholders, including peers and executive leadership.
Compensation

U.S. locations are categorized into four zones. Salary ranges are USD $290,000 – $435,000 per year, subject to market conditions. The role is also eligible to participate in equity plans and may receive a sign‑on bonus upon acceptance.
Sales roles may be eligible for a commission plan.
