Supply Chain Specialist (Experienced)
Location:
Hazelwood, MO.
Security Clearance:
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. (An active clearance in the past 24 months is considered active).
- Provide status reports, briefs, and metrics relating to performance and mission readiness.
- Ensure timely procurement requisition creation in SAP to meet urgent requirements.
- Work closely with supply chain counterparts to ensure execution of needed procurements.
- Conduct risk, issue, and opportunity management.
- Maintain a record of demands and situations that arise to help with future demand planning.
- Collaborate with ILS team members for site shipment arrangements/execution.
- Participate in system improvement transition initiatives for inventory management.
- Review bottlenecks across the business to adjust forecasting and supply planning.
- Coordinate to ensure current supply status and contract commitments meet program schedules and plans.
- Manage stock shortages and spares demands with stakeholders, suggesting risk mitigation strategies and working with Boeing stakeholders to avoid operational impacts.
- Demonstrate leadership through coordination of efforts between Supply Chain, Program, ILS, and site focus.
- Analyze postproduction supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities and coordinate for economy of purchases.
- Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and customer data regarding supply capabilities, capacity and performance.
- 3+ years experience in asset management.
- 3+ years experience in supplier management/procurement as a purchasing agent, buyer, supplier program manager, supply chain management analyst/item manager, or supply base manager.
- 3+ years experience working with supply chain management software such as ERP, MRP, Epicor SCM, Oracle SCM, etc.
- 3+ years experience with GOLD.
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in asset management, purchasing, supply chain, or supplier management.
- Experience with GOLD ELMS instance FIAR and CICP knowledge.
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry with knowledge of industry‑specific regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional interaction with Customer, Program, supply chain, contracts, finance, engineering, and quality.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities with a highly detail‑oriented mindset.
Competitive base pay ranging from $90,100 to $121,900 with variable compensation opportunities.
