Overview
Region 3 is seeking an energetic and detail-driven Analyst II to serve as the Region’s lead specialist for contracts, agreements, and fiscal coordination. This role supports conservation efforts across habitat, fisheries, wildlife, lands, and other CDFW programs.
Responsibilities- Partner with staff across the Region and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external partners to develop scopes of work and budgets.
- Prepare and review agreement packages; provide guidance on State contracting and fiscal requirements.
- Review invoices, monitor expenditures, maintain tracking tools, and support documentation needs for reporting and audits.
- Assist with general administrative and fiscal coordination to keep regional operations running smoothly.
Salary range: $6,031.00 – $7,775.00 per month. New to State candidates hired at the minimum salary.
Desirable Qualifications- Experience with State contracting and procurement processes (SAM, SCM, CalPCA).
- Strong data analysis, policy interpretation, scope of work, and budgeting skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, or similar tools.
Office setting with prolonged periods of sitting and extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Requires frequent interaction with staff across the Region. Occasional travel (up to 5%) for site visits and meetings.
