Account Manager – Consumer Retail

Pay Range:

Description:

Account Manager – Consumer Retail is the key role to uncover business opportunities, develop retail accounts and channel accounts by providing full portfolio of MSI solutions, execute key initiatives and manage relationships to accelerated revenue growth.

This role requires a strong execution, technical aptitude and account management skills that deliver proven results. This person will leverage analytics to determine, measure and communicate business effectiveness and adapt when needed for desirable results. Analytic including SKU‑up rate, Inventory level, Returns, Exposure Rate, Own and competitor pricing are monitored daily and weekly. This person is effective at working independently and strategically to plan and execute, as well as collaboratively with the supporting teams and tactically to reach the established goals.

The successful candidate has strong organizational planning skills, detail oriented, able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, and is able to manage multiple accounts efficiently. He/she has excellent written and verbal communication skills and possesses strong interpersonal skills.

What you will DO:
  • Operation, Maintain, Sales and Inventory Management
  • Detail oriented, the setup and promo process may take over 50% of your daily working hours.
  • Responsible for reporting and communicating to sales management, operations, and marketing organization on key performance metrics, lead conversion trends, and Quarterly Business Reviews on overall program performance
  • Provide recommendations to Sales Leadership and Product Management team based on model performance. Including how to reduce the lead‑time on product setup or maintain the operation efficiency.
  • Run day‑to‑day internal product setup and sales operations to ensure processes, policies and procedures are maintained and improved as needed to drive business efficiencies to the next level.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to plan promotion in accordance with established goals. Plan, win and implement go‑to‑market plans with accounts.
  • Coordinates and arranges weekly/bi‑weekly/ and monthly scheduled meetings with each account.
  • Track promotions of competition at selected accounts and better understand competitions performance.
  • Study key retailers’ websites and read NPD monthly reporting to understand the market and help provide recommendations to accounts based on market data.
  • Work with MSI partners:
    Nvidia, Intel, Microsoft and AMD to create win‑win opportunities
  • Escalate customer service issue and create a closed loop to satisfy end consumer and retailer.
  • Work with Marketing to create marketing solutions to support accounts. Closely manage marketing timelines set by accounts. Drive each account to place MSI products in ad exposure and have the proper messaging and images.
  • Work with product management team to secure shelf placement and marketing support within the ROI guidelines controlled by the product management team
  • Forecast and delivery schedule Management
What you will NEED:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in business or related field
  • 2-5 years of retail account management or retail buying experience in the consumer electronics industry
