Job Overview
Maritz is hiring a Technical Product Manager to shape and evolve the Retail Performance Platform (RPP), a cloud‑native platform designed to power incentive, recognition, and engagement programs at enterprise scale.
Responsibilities- Own the strategy, roadmap, and prioritization of product capabilities within RPP.
- Work closely with engineering, business stakeholders, and client‑facing teams to translate market needs, client challenges, and operational realities into clear product direction.
- Collaborate on go‑to‑market and presales efforts to position platform capabilities, validate solution fit, and ensure alignment between what is sold and what can be delivered.
- Oversee product management activities, including communication of development details to stakeholders and clients.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap based on market insights, user feedback, analysis, customer trends, and competitive research.
- Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with key stakeholders to understand technical needs and business goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends that influence product strategy and maintain competitiveness.
- Participate in presales activities: client discovery, solution feasibility validation, solution design, RFP responses, demos, and presentations.
- Align product roadmap commitments with delivery realities and ensure accurate representation to stakeholders.
- Determine prioritization of enhancement and lifecycle management initiatives in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Drive business value and operational efficiencies through prioritization of enhancements and collaboration with development and project teams.
- Enforce alignment between product enhancements, status updates, and governance recommendations.
- Work with technical architects, developers, project managers, and business analysts to improve processes and accuracy of staffing plans.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical skills to create and manage product roadmaps.
- Subject‑matter expertise around technology products.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams in a cross‑functional environment.
- Initiative to innovate and develop new ideas independently or within a team, with minimal direction.
- Professional demeanor and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting regular deadlines.
- Reports to the Sr. Director, IT, and maintains relationships with technology managers, project managers, and business owners.
