Responsible for developing and implementing supply‑chain category plans to improve delivery and execution across all BGS‑G businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Lead supply‑chain strategy for Materials & Standards, Raw Materials, Castings/Forgings, and other Systems categories.
- Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships and sourcing activities, including strategic, alternate/dual sourcing, part qualification, and customer qualification/approval.
- Negotiate agreements such as LOIs, MOUs, pricing, distribution rights, capacity agreements, exclusivity terms, and most‑favored‑nation provisions.
- Issue and assess RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations.
- Develop new sources/manufacturers, including capability assessments, capacity assessments, customer and part qualification/approval.
- Collaborate with BCA and BDS Category Management.
- Apply best practices and structure to manage and drive projects, prioritizing multiple critical initiatives.
- Communicate effectively across all levels and present to executive leadership.
- Work across functional, organizational, and geographic boundaries within a matrix organization.
- 8+ years of related work experience.
- 6+ years of supply‑chain experience.
- 2+ years of experience with risk identification and mitigation plans.
- Experience working cross‑functionally and building positive relationships.
- Experience in problem solving and strategic decision making.
- Ability to travel 10‑20% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or Master of Science in Supply Chain (highly desired).
- Supply‑chain Category Management, Supplier Contracting or Procurement experience.
- Strategy or Consulting experience.

Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Eligible employees may enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off. Pay range: $121,550 – $175,950 annually.
