Work Week Manager II
The Work Week Manager II is ultimately responsible for all activities leading up to execution of a work week. This position has the authority to coordinate (change, reschedule, or cancel) planned maintenance. Two major priorities of this position are maintaining Nuclear and Personnel Safety, and maintaining production capability of the unit. This position is critical to successful implementation of cycle plan activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the organization in the development, understanding and execution of the Work Management process utilizing teamwork as the primary aspect to achieve success.
- Responsible for communicating with all personnel involved in developing and executing scheduled or emergency work in order to ensure work execution.
- Ensure online schedule is developed with consideration of current and projected plant conditions, developed in compliance with regulatory requirements, developed with consideration for assessment requirements of ED-ZZ-01129, Callaway Plant Risk Assessment, designed to minimize safety and risk significant equipment out-of-service time, developed in accordance with the Cycle Plan.
- Chair the daily schedule update meetings ensuring work is successfully completed. Chair T-Week meetings ensuring work is scheduled to minimize risk. Facilitates the post work week critique meeting with the goal to improve the work management process.
- Approve all work additions/deletions for upcoming workweeks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Six or more years power plant experience, including four years relevant nuclear power plant experience, required.
- Prior experience as a licensed operator or operations supervisor (RO/SRO/SRO Cert) preferred. Experience coordinating projects or planning and executing work, as well as experience with scheduling software is preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Must have good leadership, decision making, communication, and human relations' skills. Security screening required for Callaway Plant access.
