Job Overview

Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Contract Analyst – Hybrid (Analyst II) within the PACE Contract Management and Processing Unit, Department of Health Care Services.

• Manage daily operations of the unit, performing complex tasks related to contract management.
• Provide technical assistance to PACE organizations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures across all aspects of contract management.
• Develop contracts and amendments, enforce contract and waiver compliance, and create policies and procedures related to contracts.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert and support the team in achieving operational success.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

• Refer to the Class Specification for detailed minimum qualifications for the Analyst II classification.
• Experience in contract management, policy development, or related government functions preferred.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

• Advanced knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements related to health care contracts.
• Experience with data analysis and performance measurement in a health‑care setting.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop others.
• Decision‑making and stakeholder engagement skills in a dynamic environment.

Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month, based on experience and qualifications. The position offers overtime compensation as required by California law.

Work Location:

Hybrid – telework is permitted under department discretion. Primary office is located at 1515 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95814.
