Overview
Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) - Grant Analyst II (JC-509844)
Salary: $6,031.00 - $7,775.00 per month (minimum salary for new to state candidates or alternate range where applicable).
Position: 12‑month Limited Term – Full Time, may be extended to permanent.
Work location:
Hybrid – Sacramento office 4 days per week; telework options available.
- Perform review, evaluation, and recommendation for approval of grant applications for the California Community Reinvestment Grants Program and the Cannabis Equity Grants Program for Local Jurisdictions.
- Execute grant management, accounting, compliance, and reporting duties.
- Assist with training, review of staff assignments, and development of outreach materials and presentations.
- Coordinate quarterly reporting and budget monitoring for managed grants.
- Travel up to 10% of time as required.
- Relevant experience in grant analysis, accounting, and compliance.
- Demonstrated writing and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of state grant program administration.

- Must hold a valid California Secretary of State examination for analyst II (unless exempt by transfer or reinstatement).
