We seek a Senior Business Architect to collaborate with Global Valuation, design and implement end‑to‑end operating models, and ensure integration and data integrity across Valuation, Operations, Finance, IT, and Administration.

Position Overview

The Senior Business Architect works with Global Valuation in designing and implementing an end‑to‑end operating model that delivers value aligned with corporate strategies. The role collaborates cross‑functionally with Valuation, Operations, Finance, IT, and Administration to define standards, enable advancement and integration of RGA processes and systems, ensure data integrity, and minimize disruptions to the actuarial reporting process.

Responsibilities
  • Implement change initiatives prioritized according to the business strategies.
  • Deliver enhanced business value through effective stakeholder engagement and organizational change management.
  • Engage with project managers, business analysts, users, designers and developers to further understand the system and resolve system gaps.
  • Support Valuation associates globally in adopting enhanced business processes and system capabilities, providing business support.
  • Develop advanced understanding of RGA’s Valuation processes, data, and systems within and outside Valuation and ensure end‑to‑end integration.
  • Partner with the quality assurance team to develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure system functionality.
  • Lead cross‑functional efforts and provide constructive feedback to incorporate management strategies into the overall architecture.
  • Engage IT resources to ensure business requirements are met and implement the proper technical solutions aligned with business strategies.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to Business Architects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent related work experience required.
  • 5+ years of technology‑related experience such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Data Analysis, technology solution design/development.
  • Advanced SQL skills and intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills for sharing domain knowledge and complex information.
  • Strong collaboration and liaison skills across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines.
  • Advanced skills in customer relationship management and change management.
  • Advanced negotiating and persuasion skills.
  • Advanced investigative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into implementable specifications and support the implementation of technical and business solutions.
  • Ability to recognize and articulate process improvement opportunities and capability gaps.
  • Ability to set goals and manage multiple assignments, clients, and projects simultaneously; balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Advanced data analysis skills and ability to adapt quickly to new methods.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with conflict resolution and teamwork fostering ability.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of program management and software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Agile framework experience and knowledge of change management.

Compensation Range
Annual: $89,310.00 – $ (base pay varies depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience and market location). RGA provides an annual bonus plan, eligibility for a long‑term equity incentive plan in some positions, and a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
