The Role
As our Commercial Electrical Estimator, you’ll be a key player in driving company growth by producing accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates for commercial electrical projects of all sizes.
You’ll collaborate with clients, analyze plans and specifications, manage multiple bids simultaneously, and help secure millions in annual revenue through strategic estimating and project evaluation.

You’ll work on a wide variety of commercial electrical projects, including:
- Interior & exterior lighting upgrades
- Parking lot lighting installations and repairs
- Service upgrades and panel replacements
- EV charger installations
- Power additions and distribution upgrades
- Equipment wiring
- Generator installations
- Apartment complexes
- Commercial buildings
- Tenant finish projects
- Facility maintenance upgrades
- Review plans, specifications, and project documentation
- Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates
- Determine labor, material, and equipment costs
- Analyze electrical code requirements and project feasibility
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing
- Identify value‑engineering opportunities
- Manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams throughout the bidding process
- Submit polished, timely, and profitable proposals
- Help achieve annual sales targets exceeding $5M
- 6+ years of electrical field experience preferred
- 2+ years of commercial estimating experience
- Strong understanding of NEC and commercial electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications confidently
- Proven track record of accurate estimating and profitable bidding
- Exceptional time management and multitasking ability
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Self‑motivated and highly dependable
- Team‑oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Comfortable using technology and estimating software
- Service Titan experience is a plus
- $80,000 – $110,000 annual salary, DOE
- Performance‑based bonus opportunities
