Job Description

What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. At Amgen, our shared mission—to serve patients—drives everything we do. Within the US Bone Health Business Unit, we have set a bold ambition to help prevent 3 million osteoporotic fractures by 2033 by transforming how osteoporosis is recognized, diagnosed, treated, and prioritized across the healthcare ecosystem. Achieving this ambition requires more than innovative medicines—it requires transforming the osteoporosis ecosystem through stakeholder alignment, disease awareness, innovation, and coordinated action.

Bone IMPACT (Igniting Momentum through Policy, Alliances, Communications, and Technology) is Amgen's enterprise above-brand strategy to advance this ambition by mobilizing partners across the healthcare ecosystem and creating the conditions that improve disease awareness, diagnosis, treatment, and fracture prevention.

The Marketing Director, Bone IMPACT will lead the evolution of Amgen's enterprise market-shaping strategy for osteoporosis by identifying, prioritizing, and advancing initiatives that transform the future osteoporosis landscape. Working across Marketing, Medical, Health Systems, Government Affairs, Corporate Communications, Advocacy, Value & Access, HEOR, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and external stakeholders, this leader will shape strategy, build strategic partnerships, identify emerging opportunities, and align organizational capabilities to accelerate meaningful improvements in osteoporosis care, with the opportunity to build a team and develop talent as the capability expands.

This is a unique opportunity to help build one of Amgen's most strategic enterprise capabilities while shaping the future of osteoporosis care for one of the largest and most underserved patient populations in healthcare. Success in this highly visible leadership role requires strategic thinking, influence without authority, external partnership leadership, and the ability to translate bold ideas into executable strategies within a complex, highly regulated environment.
